Pay As You Go

Responsive support for ad‑hoc HR and people related matters.

£75 - £100 per hour (depending on the complexity of the work)

My Pay As You Go service gives you flexible, practical HR support across a wide range of employment‑related matters, exactly when you need it. This includes help with:

  • Recruitment advertising and candidate attraction
  • Contracts of Employment
  • Job interviews and selection
  • Managing sickness absence and unauthorised absence
  • Employee health and wellbeing
  • Disciplinary processes and meetings

  • Dismissals and termination of contracts

Ad hoc support and project delivery also available – perfect for occasional support or projects that require additional capacity or outside expertise.  Quickly providing support as and when you need it.

Monthly Retainer

Ongoing HR expertise without the cost of an in‑house HR department.

£70 per hour, equivalent to:
- Half day: £245*
- Full day: £490*

My pay monthly (retained) service allows you to book and pay in advance for a set number of hours of HR support each month, ensuring my time is secured and available when you need it. The services typically included in my Pay Monthly packages are listed below, and each package is tailored to suit specific business needs each month.

  • Telephone and email advice
  • Hands‑on support and consultancy
  • On‑site support, including attending employee meetings
  • Assistance with recruitment
  • Drafting letters and documentation
  • Staff surveys and turnover reviews
  • Exit interviews
  • Sickness absence management
  • Unauthorised absence management
  • Disciplinary and misconduct matters
  • Grievance investigations

There are no lengthy tie‑in periods, and my retained services are usually agreed on a 6 or 12‑month basis.

* Travel / On-Site Work

Travel time to site is charged at your chosen Pay As You Go or Retainer hourly/day rate, plus: 

  • Mileage at 45p per mile from and to NG22 9DE
  • Any additional travel costs incurred (e.g., parking, train fares)
